SafeSanit (previously named the ‘VEIN TOILET’) is a self-cycle flushing toilet with no water supply connection and no drainage connection. It was developed by the Ministry of Defense of Japan, and it is being used as a toilet for field training exercise (a self-cycle toilet is one which there is no discharge water and all of the waste water is treated inside the toilet.）

SafeSanit treats waste water with aerobic bacteria and three-phase cleaning chamber (biological waste water treatment system) which is a landmark water treatment system and a highly effective re-cycling operation.

SafeSanit is self-recycling toilet. We call it “self-recycling” because it treats waste water by itself and recycles the water for it’s usage, thus no discharge of water is required. In addition, SafeSanit treats waste water by a biological process with bacteria, water and air. SafeSanit recycles the treated water by continuously washing/flushing water over and over again.
